Robert Bilbie Consultancy is an energy and environmental practice providing a wide range of consultancy services, from compliance assessments, energy and environmental certification to a full consultancy service. 

Both as consultants and assessors, we are able to reduce the carbon footprint for all types of buildings, both new and existing to ensure that they are environmentally responsible with minimal energy use. 

A range of services is provided from general consultancy, feasibility studies, assessments to confirm compliance with CO2 emission requirements for the latest Building Regulations, and also environmental assessments and certification for new buildings and refurbishments.  The latter includes BREEAM assessments and also the Government’s Code for Sustainable Homes, which became mandatory for all new housing from May 2008.

The Practice, established in 1991, has a team of experienced and qualified energy and environmental assessors and aims to engender sound environmental considerations in to all projects, such as passive solar design, use of ecological materials, timber from sustainable forests, water conservation and energy saving. 

Our client base stretches from one off individual clients and designers to local, regional and national architects, house builders, contractors and also includes Housing Associations and Local Authorities.  The Practice also provides Energy Performance Certificates for new buildings and for existing buildings from a site inspection, be it a dwelling or commercial building.

Robert Bilbie Consultancy is a registered practice with the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists and has an established continuing professional development (CPD) framework.
